The cost is therefore relatively high, especially for large diameter ball valves. The cost of gate valves is low. The sealing effect is good, and the switch is relatively labor-saving. In the case of fully opening gate valve, the largest flow channel can be provided without causing resistance.
2. If the ball valve is in a static state for a long time, the stuck phenomenon will appear after a period of use.
3. The requirements for the medium of ball valves are higher than that of gate valves. For example, you can only choose ball valves if more fiber and oxygen media are needed.
In general, which one is better to install gate valves or ball valves before and after regulating valve? In conclusion, it is better to use gate valves if you consider the economy, and the gate valve is much cheaper. Alternatively, gates valves can be chosen in large diameter, low-pressure oil, steam and water pipes. If you consider the sealing, you can choose the ball valve. Because the ball valve is suitable for working conditions of high leakage grade requirements.
