A. The structure characteristics of floating ball valves

1. The double line sealing valve seat was designed by the sealing structure of unique valve seats with the combination of the manufacturing experience of ball valves for many years and advanced technology at home and abroad. It is reliable to ensure the sealing performance of valves. The valve seat processing is professional, making the seat friction coefficient low and the operating torque of valves small.

2. The head of the handle valve stem which can indicate the status of valve switch adopts a flat square structure, and the connection with the handle will not be misplaced, so as to ensure the same direction of the flow hole of the handle and the ball. When the handle is parallel to the valve pipeline, the valve is in the open state. The valve is closed when the handle is perpendicular to the valve line.

3. Locking device
In the valve fully open and fully closed position is provided with a locking hole, the valve can be locked by padlock. This locking device is especially advantageous when the valve is installed in the field or in the production line of petroleum and chemical products with combustible media.

4. The stem anti-fly structure
When the pressure in the valve chamber rises, the pressure in the valve chamber may push the stem out. To prevent this situation, a shoulder is provided at the lower part of the stem and the stem is loaded into the body to prevent the stem from flying out. In this way, it is more convenient and safe to replace the filler. At the same time, after the fire, the pressure of the medium will make the valve stem flange and the sealing surface of the valve body close contact and prevent a large number of media leakage from the damaged packing parts. It plays the role of instantaneous sealing.

5. The anti-static design
When operating the valve, static electricity will be generated and accumulated on the ball due to the friction between the ball and the seat. In order to prevent electrostatic spark, anti-static device is specially set on the valve to export the electrostatic generated during the switching process. This design will prevent accidents when the valve is used in gasoline, natural gas, propane, etc., with low ignition points.

6. The structure of fire protection
When there is an accident of fire, the seat, packing and other non-metallic materials will be burned out. A large amount of leaking media may promote the fire. Valve fireproof structure can prevent mass media leakage. After fire, the leakage parts (the ball and valve body, the stem and valve body and the middle flange) are designed to make metal contact to meet fire protection requirements. Once the seat is burned, the ball will directly contact the metal surface on the valve body in pressure, so as to prevent a large amount of media from leaking from the burned seat.

B.Pressure - temperature rating

The pressure and temperature rating of ball valves are not only related to shell material, but also related to sealing material such as the seat, packing and gasket. Seals can be polymer, asbestos or rubber. The choice of seal material depends on the medium composition, operating temperature, operating pressure and flow rate of the valve.

It is extremely difficult to accurately determine the pressure-temperature rating of a valve for unpredictable conditions. Based on our long experience in valve manufacturing and valuable feedback from customers, we, Landee Valve, are here to provide you with pressure - temperature ratings for valves under stable operating conditions.
