Model Composition & Significance of Stainless Steel Ball Valve-Pt.2

In the end, we should have a general understanding. In order to be able to make specific analysis, we will give examples to illustrate it.

Ball valve is generally divided into floating ball valve and fixed ball valve. The model of floating ball valve can be written as Q41F ( Q is the initial word of Qiu Pinyin of ball valve. 4 is flange connection. 1 is the structural form is floating. F is the material of sealing surface is PTFE, which is commonly known as tetrafluoroethylene). And the model of fixed ball valve can be written as Q47F (Q is the initial word of Qiu Pinyin of ball valve. 4 is flange connection. 7 is the structural form is fixed. And F is seal. The material of the surface is PTFE, namely polytetrafluoroethylene, which is commonly known as tetrafluoroethylene). Both representations are manual. If there is a turbo drive on it, the models are Q341F and Q347F (so, Number 3 means turbine drive).

1. Generally, the diameter of floating ball valve is from DN 15 to DN 250. Fixed ball valve generally starts from DN50. To sum up, small caliber can be used as floating ball valve, large diameter can be used as fixed ball valve.
2. From the appearance, the bottom of the fixed ball valve has a lower stem bracket than that of the floating ball valve.
3. There is no difference between floating ball valve and fixed ball valve. Materials are available on request.

Examples of ball valve editing:
1. Low temperature ball valve DQ41H-16Pindicates: D low temperature, Q ball valve, 4 flange connection, 1 floating through flow channel, H means stainless steel, 16 pressure is 16 kg, P valve body is 18-8 series stainless steel
2. Pneumatic ball valve Q645F-25C means: Q ball valve, 6 pneumatic drive, 4 flange type, 5T type three-way flow channel, F fluoroplastic, 25 pressure 25 kg, C cast steel.
