Two major points analyzing electric control butterfly valve installation:
1. Installation location, altitude and direction of import and export must comply with the design requirements. Pay attention to the medium flow direction which should be consistent with the body the direction of the arrow, and the connection should be firmly connected.
2. The appearance inspection of electric butterfly control valve must be conducted before installation. The valve nameplate should be consistent with existing national standards Universal Valve Signal-GB12220 rules. For the working pressure is greater than 1.0 MPa and valves with the function of cutting off on major branches, they all need to be conducted strength and strict performance test. They can be used after being qualified. When doing the strength test, the test pressure is 1.5 times than the nominal pressure, the duration is not less than 5 min, and the shell and packing shall be no leakage of valve and qualified.
According to structural style, electric control butterfly valve can be divided into offset plate, vertical plate, inclined plate and leveraged. According to sealed type, it can be divided into two kinds: soft seal and hard seal. Soft seal type generally adopts rubber ring seal, while hard seal type usually uses metal ring seal.
According to the connection type,
electric control butterfly valve can be divided into flanged joint and double-clip connection. According to the drive methods, it can be divided into manual transmission, gear transmission, pneumatic transmission, hydraulic transmission and electric transmission.
Installation and maintenance of electric adjustment butterfly valve.
1. The disc should stop in closed position when being installed.
2. Determine open position according to the angle of rotation of butterfly plate.
3. Open the bypass valve before opening the butterfly valve with a bypass.
4. Electric butterfly valve shall be installed according to the manufacturer's installation instructions and heavy butterfly valve should be set up a solid foundation.
