Cleaning method
Slags and rust in the pipes blocking or stucking throttles, guidance parts, lower valve cover balance holes can cause drag marks and scratches on curved and guide surfaces of the spools and dents on the sealing surfaces. This often occurs in the new commissioning and initial operation after overhaul, which is the most common breakdown. In this case, you must disengage the valve to clean and remove the slag. If the sealing surface is damaged, there should be an abrasive treatment; meanwhile open the bottom plug to flush out slags of the lower valve cover dropped from the balance hole, and flush the pipeline. Before putting into operation, let Tefulong regulating valve fully open and the media flowing for some time.
External scouring method
We can connect flush gas and steam to the bottom plug of the lower valve cover. When the valve blocked or jammed, open the external gas or steam, you can complete the rinse work in the case of not moving Tefulong regulating valve, and make the valve run.
Method of installing the pipe filter
For fluorine regulating valve with small diameter, especially the one with ultra-small flow, its throttling gap is extremly small, so there should not be a little bit of slag in the media. You'd better install a filter in the pipeline to ensure that the medium can get through successfully. For those fluorine regulating valves with positiones, when the positioners are not working properly, there will be a jam of the gas channel throttling point. So we must well deal with the gas source if there are positioners with regulating valves. And we usually install air pressure relief regulator filter on the gas source pipeline which is in front of the positioner so as to solve that problem.
Method of increasing the throttling gap
If the solid particles in the medium or welding slag and rust washed out from the pipeline couldn't pass the throttle point or got stuck, we can use throttling parts with big gap instead, of which the throttling area is open spool or sleeve. Because of its throttle area is concentrated rather than circular-distributed, the problem can be easily excluded. If it is a single or double seat
valve, we can replace the plunger-shaped spool with "V" shaped spool, or we can use sleeve valve. For example, a chemical plant has a two-seat valve that is often stuck, it is recommended to use sleeve valve, and the problem will be immediately resolved. Medium scouring method
The scouring ability of the media itself could flush and take away things that easily precipitated and blocked, which can enhance anti-blocking function of the valve. The common methods are: ① Using the closed type ② Adopting streamlined valve body ③Placing the throttle point in the part where it was washed out sharply, improving erosion resistance of the throttling materials at the same time.
Method of changing the through type into corner type
The through type is the one with inverted S flow. It has complex flow routes and many dead area in the upper and lower cavities, which provides a place for precipitation of the medium. Angular valves have the advantages of angular connections, the medium is like flowing through 90℃ elbow, erosion of good performance, small dead area and being easily designed to streamline. When there is slight clogging in the through type of fluorine regulating valve, we can use angular valve instead.
