Nowadays, almost all of valves have the flaw of poor sealing performance. Many buyers, or even manufacturers don't know how to deal with it. After putting a lot of effort on the research, we have come up with four ways to solve the problem.

Grinding
Carefully grind, remove mark, reduce or get rid of sealing gap, improve the smooth finish of the sealing surface to improve sealing performance.

Improving the sealing force of the actuator
To improve the sealing force of the actuator for valve plugs can not only guarantee
valves closeness, but also increase the sealing pressure. The following are five ways to improve the sealing performance.

Adopting single sealing and soft sealing ways
You can replace dual sealing with single sealing for regulating valves, which can receive over 10 times of sealing ability. If it is not balanced, we can take such measure as using soft sealing instead of hard sealing, which also can improve the sealing performance.

To use valves which have good sealing performance
You can consider to use valves with better sealing ability in some unusual circumstances. For example, replacing general butterfly valves with oval butterfly valves, or cut off butterfly valves, eccentric rotary valves, ball valves, as well as those professional cut off valves.
