1.Globe valves: simple and reliable, flow control
Globe valves are widely favored for their simple and reliable structure and outstanding flow control capabilities. Its valve disc moves in a straight line along the centerline of the valve seat, and the switch is achieved by lifting and lowering the valve stem.(1) Due to the low friction between the sealing surfaces of the globe valve, the small opening height, and the short closing time, it is very suitable for accurate flow control applications.(2) In addition, the valve disc and seat sealing surface of the globe valve are flat or conical, which is easy to process and maintain, ensuring the long-term stable operation of the valve.
2. Electric ball valves: intelligent regulation, high-speed energy-saving
(1) With the development of technology, electric ball valves have shone in the HVAC and refrigeration systems of commercial and public buildings due to their adjustable flow ratio of up to 500 : 1, graphite reinforced PTEE ball valve seats, and integrated flow distribution discs. ① The electric ball valve drives the valve stem through a motor, causing the ball to rotate 90 degrees inside the valve body, thereby controlling the flow of the medium. ② Due to the sealing structure between the ball and the valve seat, the electric ball valve has better sealing performance. ③ Electric ball valves also have advantages such as quick opening and closing, flexible adjustment, low flow resistance, and energy saving, making them outstanding in flow regulation and control.

(2) Taking the HVAC system of a commercial building as an example, the system uses electric ball valves to regulate and control the on or off and flow of hot and chilled water. ① The valve body material is selected from brass or ductile iron, ensuring the corrosion resistance and strength of the valve. ② The caliber range is from DN25 to DN150, meeting the needs of different pipeline systems. ③ The connection method adopts threaded or flange connection, which is easy to install and has strong adaptability. ④ The nominal pressure PN16 ensures the stable operation of the valve in high-pressure environments.
3. Gate valves: sturdy structure
Gate valves are widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, and power due to their sturdy structure, good sealing performance, and strong flow capacity. ① The gate of the gate valve moves up and down in a plane perpendicular to the centerline of the gate seat channel, cutting off the medium in the pipeline like a gate. ② Due to the low friction between the sealing surfaces of gate valves, opening and closing are effortless, and the flow direction of the medium is not limited, without disturbance or pressure reduction.
Therefore, gate valves are particularly suitable for large-diameter, low-pressure pipeline systems. In short, globe valves, electric ball valves, and gate valves each have their own characteristics and advantages.
