In a test of strength, the test pressure is 1.5 times than the nominal pressure, and the duration is not less than 5 mins. The valve shell and packing are qualified if there is no leakage. During the tightness test, the test pressure should be 1.1 times than the nominal pressure. The test pressure should meet the requirements of GB 50243 during the test duration, and the valve disc sealing surface without leakage should be regarded as the qualified one.
