Recently, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MITT) publishes an announcement on its official website that reciprocating pump, 643 industry standards will be carried out on June 1, 2016, including 9 valve industry standards.
The followings are included 9 valve industry standards.
1. Flanged and butt-welded corrosive resistant gate valve (JB/T 12619-2016)
The standard stipulates rated value of pressure – temperature, design, materials, test methods and inspection rules, marks and delivery of full-bore corrosive resistant gate valve.
The standard is appropriate for the gate valve whose nominal pressure is Class 150~Class 600 (PN 20~PN 100), nominal diameter DN 15~DN 600, bottled bonnet, rising stem, lifting stem, non-lift wheelhand, wedge or parallel, single disc and double discs, metal seat, flanging and butt-welding. Applicable media are petroleum and petroleum relative products, gas and steam.
2. Specification of inlet hydraulic ball valve for water turbine (JB/T 12620-2016)
The standard stipulates composition, structural style and model, technical requirements, inspection and test methods, rules of inspection and acceptance, mark, shipping and storage of inlet hydraulic ball valve.
The standard is suitable for inlet ball valve whose nominal diameter below 5000mm.
3. Specification of gas valve (JB/T 12621-2016)
The standard stipulate terms and definition, technical requirements, inspection, test methods, test regulation, mark, painting, package, transportation and storage of
gate valve,
globe valve,
check valve,
ball valve and
butterfly valve used for gas.
The standard is appropriate for gas flanged and welded valve whose nominal pressure is PN16~PN250 (Class 150~Class 1500), nominal diameter DN15~DN1200, applicable for gas.
Other low temperature valves whose temperature is higher than -162℃ also can be referred to.
4. Performance testing of gas valve (JB/T 12622-2016)
The standard stipulates the requirements for terms and definition, test item, performance testing under room temperature, performance testing under low temperature, testing methods, testing procedures and leakage which are used for performance testing of gas valve.
The standard is appropriate for flanged or welded gate valves, globe valves, check valve, ball valve and butterfly valves whose nominal pressure is PN16~PN250 (Class 150~Class 1500), nominal diameter DN15~DN1200 (NPS1/2~NPS48). Applicable medium is gas.
Other types of valves also can be referred to.
5. Gas butterfly valve (JB/T 12623-2016)
The standard stipulates structural styles, technical requirements, test method and inspection regulations, mark, package, storage, transportation and delivery of gas steel butterfly valve.
The standard is appropriate for gas steel butterfly valve whose nominal diameter is DN80~DN1200 (NPS3～NPS48 ), nominal pressure PN16~PN100 (Class 150~Class 600).
Other low temperature butterfly valves whose temperature is higher than -162℃ can be referred to.
6. Gas globe valves and check valves (JB/T 12624-2016)
The standard stipulates structural styles, technical requirements, testing methods, mark, package and storage of gas globe valve, lifting check valve and swing check valve.

7. Gas ball valve (JB/T 12625-2016)
The standard stipulates structural methods, technical requirements, test methods, inspection regulation, mark, package and storage of gas valve.
The standard is appropriate for flanged and welded gas ball valve whose nominal pressure PN16~PN250 (Class 150~Class 1500), nominal diameter DN15~DN700 (NPS1/2~NPS28). Working media is liquefied natural gas.
Other low temperature ball valve whose temperature is higher than -162℃ can be referred to.
8. Gas gate valve (JB/T 12626-2016)
The standard stipulates structural styles, technical requirements, test methods and inspection regulation, mark, package, transportation and storage of gas gate valve
The standard is appropriate for gas flanged or welded gate valve whose nominal pressure is PN16~PN250 (Class 150~Class 1500), nominal diameter DN25~DN600 (NPS1~NPS24). Working media is liquefied natural gas.
Other low temperature gate valves whose temperature is higher than -162℃ can be referred to.
9. Cup valve used for dry dedusting system of converter gas (JB/T 12627-2016)
The standard stipulates terms and definition, structural styles, models and parameters, technical requirements, test and inspection, inspection rules, mark, transportation and storage of cup valve used for dry dedusting system of converter gas.
